May Newsletter 2007

On the Move
We are delighted to share with you that a young Christian couple have purchased our house. We are thankful they will be here to continue as witnesses for Christ in the neighbourhood. It is hard to believe that in less than one month we will be leaving the place that we have called home for nearly ten years. It will certainly be a fun challenge to fit all of the things that we can take with us into ten suitcases. I am sure the last time we close the door will be a moment filled with great emotion, but also great anticipation as we take another step along the path God has called us to walk.

Family Corner

As a family we will face many changes over the next few weeks and months.
Tyler will finish his job at Purolator in mid - May. This will give him time to go on one last fishing trip with his dad, as well as help me with the final packing.
Hannah and Sarah will finish school on May 28th. They have both had wonderful teachers, and I know that Hannah will especially miss Mrs. Whinfield, who has been her teacher for grades one and three.
Myah has recently become more aware that something is about to change as more and more of our furniture and things are heading to Grandma’s house or given away. It is fun to listen to her talk about going on a plane to Guatemala.
For all of us one of the hardest things will be saying good bye to our family and friends. All three of our girls are very close their Grandma and they will miss the time they spend with her.
I will miss my nightly prayer walks with my neighbour and dear friend Leona. Her friendship has been such a blessing and answer to prayer. We are so grateful for your prayers, and would appreciate if you would remember to pray for our family and friends when we leave as this will be a big adjustment for them as well.

Our Support Needs

As we mentioned in our last letter 100% of our outgoing expenses have been met through money already received and some firm commitments. At this time we have commitments to 80% of our monthly support. That is $4,402 of the $5,500 required. We are delighted as we see the Lord building up a team of people who have partnered with us as we serve Him in Peru. We are also grateful for the many notes of encouragement we have received and how we have been blessed to know that there are so many praying for us and the ministry in Peru.
We would like to make sure that we efficiently communicate with you on a regular basis and would appreciate having your email address to make that possible. If you do not have email, please be assured that we are making arrangements to have our updates delivered to you in a timely manner as well.
