Yagua Natives in the Amazon

From inside a traditional Yagua home. This building is used for meetings and celebrations as they no longer live in this style of home.

Homes of the Yagua. They have built their homes on stilts for two reasons, during the high water season and to reduce the risk of encountering snakes, as they travel at night when it is too dark to see.
