A Walk at the Bond Tract

We decided to take advantage of the nice fall weather and go for a walk with the girls on a local trail. We stopped for a snack at a little bridge along the path then headed back to the car. On the way back Myah fell in the mud and got soaked, thankfully Daddy came to the rescue and carried her the rest of the way.

Fun with Photos

I have been having fun taking pictures of the girls. I don't know why but Hannah seems to be an expert at escaping the shot. But first this picture of Peter Bright is one of my favourites that Hannah took while the team from HBC was in Peru. Great job Hannah, sorry Peter I couldn't resist ;-)

A Quick Update

The last few weeks have been filled with a few changes for us. We have decided to enroll all of our girls into school while we are here so that they can maintain that consistancy. Everyone seems to be enjoying this and the girls have already made a few new friends.

We have been to see both our family doctor and a specialist and they have diagnosed Sarah with Post Tramatic Stress from an attempted break in we had a few months ago. She is beginning to make some progress and is learning to overcome some of the fears that she has developed as a result. We encourage you to be praying for Sarah and for Tyler and I as parents as the last few months have pretty difficult for our whole family. We are encouraged though as we see God working and know that He has a purpose in all of this for His glory.

There is excitment around our house as we await Tyler's return tomorrow. He was very pleased with all of the work that was accomplished with the team from Forward. He has told me that construction has begun in Pachacamac on the first two houses. This is great news as we have awaited permission to begin building on this property for several years.

In the works..... We have been informed that there are plans for a Peru Banquet to be held at Cedar Creek Church in November. If you would like more information about this please email us and we would be happy to talk with you.

I hope that you have a blessed week.
