What did we do during Grandma and Grandpa's visit?

WARNING, THIS POST HAS A LOT OF PICTURES!

We got to see pictures and hear about Grandma and Grandpa's trip to Machu Picchu
Discovered that Grampa has a hidden talent for taking funny pictures of Daddy.
We learned that an eight year old boy would rather have some cookies than money for telling you about this famous building in his town.
We heard from the 8 year old boy all about this cotton plantation that was built is 1843. It suffered serious damage during the 2007 earthquake that hit Peru. It is no longer open to the public.
We watched Sand Pipers scurry along the ocean shore.
Saw the type of flamingos that inspired the colours for the Peruvian flag.
Had fun with Grandma along the shore of this red sand beach.
Tried to find the bird in this picture. Can you see it?
Saw a baby Sea Lion sleeping on his mommy's back.
Laughed at penguins toddling about on this rock cliff.
Enjoyed seeing how God carved a hole right through this rock with the waves.
Listened, as Myah squealed with delight as a pod of dolphins were swimming in the water around us.

Witnessed a great way to enjoy dinner on your honeymoon.
Stayed at one of the prettiest places I have seen in southern Peru.
Watched Myah learn how to swim all on her own.
Witnessed two sisters having lots of fun together.
Relaxed, while Grandma pushed someone on the swings.

Our New Garden

We were getting quite tired of the dying grass inside our front yard, so we decided to plant a garden. With the help of Myah and her grandparents we accomplished the following. One of hte unique things about our living room is the full wall glass doors that allow us to see our whole garden.

Tyler is doing well

I am thrilled to tell you how well Tyler is doing. He had a follow up appointment last week. He is healing well and the doctor told us that as long as he does not develop another infection during the next two weeks without being on antibiotics, then the second surgery will not be needed. On Tuesday, Tyler started working with the team the just arrived, he is a bit tired but enjoying working again.

Thank you for praying for us during the last few weeks, we are grateful for your prayers.
